How do I maintain my gas tool?

Maintaining your gas tool properly ensures a long and happy tool life. Blow off dust from the tool after using it and clean the air filter on top of the tool every two days. We recommend cleaning your tool thoroughly after driving 10.000 nails or using 9 fuel cells. You can use our gas tool cleaning kits. If needed, your tool can be lubricated with spray lubricating oil when send for service. If your tool, including battery, will be stored for a longer period of time it is important to charge the batteries every now and then to prevent the battery from going bad.

How do I maintain my pneumatic tool?

Maintaining your pneumatic tool properly is important to ensure a long and happy life for it. First, blow off dust from the tool after using it. If needed, lubricate the tool with spray lubricating oil regularly. Make sure to refer to the tool's manual for instructions on how to do this. Some tools are oil free and do not require lubricating. Storing your tool in its case when not in use, will ensure it doesn't get damaged.

How do I maintain my compressor?

Maintaining your compressor properly ensures a long and happy compressor life. Empty the tank of air after each use, so the condensation does not cause the tank to rust. Always use the drain valve at the bottom of the tank to remove pressure. Do not use the safety valve! Doing so can wear out the spring tension of the ring, decreasing the valve lifetime and the moisture will not be removed from the tank as it should. Clean the air filters on the front and rear sides weekly.

How do I know which bar my compressor should be set on?

A ground rule is to set the compressor on 7 bar for big tools and 6 bar for smaller tools. Drive some nails and adjust the bar - use as litte pressure as possible, without losing function. This is beneficial for both your tool and compressor.

My compressor won't start anymore. What should I do?

Turn your compressor off and push the reset button located on the back of your compressor if applicable. Turn your compressor back on. You should not push the reset button more than 3 times and always turn your compressor off first. If it still doesn't work or if there is no reset button, please contact our customer service or register your compressor for repair.

My compressor does not start or stops running.

Make sure you have sufficiant electrical power. Make sure your extension cord is not too long and has the correct dimensions. Recommended dimesion is 2.5mm2 for extesion cords longer than 15 meters.
