Recall notice

LELYSTAD, NL (August 27, 2025) – KYOCERA Fastening Solutions is voluntarily recalling SENCO Fusion F-35XP and F-40XP Cordless Framing Nailers for a safety-related software update. 

In certain circumstances, the dual action engagement system on the nailers can malfunction and involuntarily discharge a nail by pulling the trigger alone, posing a hazard to users. The nailer should require both the nosepiece contact element to be depressed and the trigger to be pulled at the same time to discharge a nail. To eliminate this hazard, we are conducting a voluntary product safety recall for a software update.  

Only the following Fusion Cordless Framing Nailers are affected:

The model and serial number can be found on the product information plate located on the back side of the nailer tool body (opposite side from where nails are loaded into magazine).  

Anyone in possession of a recalled SENCO Fusion Cordless Framing Nailer should stop using the nailer and return the tool to the SENCO retailer where it was purchased. Your SENCO retailer will handle the return and software update as quickly as possible.
